Brian Kelly recently announced that the LSU Tigers will be without one of their running backs this weekend at Auburn.
Armoni Goodwin, who leads the Tigers with 5 touchdowns, will not make the trip to Auburn. Goodwin is battling a “substantial” hamstring injury and will need time to heal. While only obtaining 24 yards on 8 carries last week against New Mexico, Goodwin did contribute 2 TDs and 1 catch for 5 yards.
Armoni Goodwin will be out this week vs Auburn. Expect a lot of Noah Cain and John Emery vs the other Tigers. #LSU @WBRZ pic.twitter.com/SwnKXl4I6j

With Goodwin out of action, Tiger fans can expect to see more of Penn State transfer Noah Cain and senior John Emery Jr. It can also be assumed that QB Jayden Daniels will do his part on the ground, as Daniels currently is the leading rusher with 262 yards. The loss of Goodwin will hurt the Tigers, especially in the red zone where Goodwin thrives.
The Tigers are set to take on the Auburn Tigers, in Auburn, on Saturday, Oct. 1.
