Banks transferred to LSU before the 2022 season after 4 seasons at Ohio State. The 2020 season was the most productive of Banks’ college career, as he collected 23 tackles, 6 passes defended, and 1 fumble recovered for a TD.
In 2022, Banks played in Week 4 against New Mexico and collected 4 tackles and 0.5 TFLs. The following week, Banks collected 1 tackle before leaving with a neck injury.
Banks returning to the fold would surely be welcome, as the Tiger pass defense has been average this season. The Tigers sport the 54th-ranked pass defense in the nation.
The Tigers are traveling to Arkansas to take on the Razorbacks in Week 11.
