Brian Robinson Jr. had an impressive Cotton Bowl with 25 carries for 198 yards as Alabama dispatched of Cincinnati 27-6 on Friday, and now he sets his sights on the Georgia game in the national championship.
“We sometimes feel like an underdog going into every game. We come in to every game with that mentality,” Robinson said at a Monday press conference. “We always feel like the underdog even when we’re expected to win.”
Robinson, who is a key player for the Crimson Tide after he waited a few seasons behind other backs, said, “I have to explain to these recruits everything is not going to be handed to you.” Robinson added that regardless of when your opportunity is you have to be prepared for it. Less time complaining, more time working.
Robinson is up to 1,269 rushing yards this season with 14 touchdowns, he’s nearly topped his combined career totals coming into this season.
