The Bulldogs are going to be down to a bare-bones staff against the Nittany Lions, as future coach Kirby Smart will remain with Alabama through the College Football Playoff.
Info I have is the same now. John Lilly calling plays again? https://t.co/bpWpunp9bF

Some — presumably long-suffering Georgia fans — feel that Schottenheimer’s lack of involvement is a positive development. After Nick Chubb suffered a season-ending knee injury against Tennessee, Georgia averaged just 15.8 points per game the rest of the season.

The Georgia-Penn State game is as meaningless as bowl games can be. Still, players, coaches and fans want to win every time UGA takes the field. It’ll be interesting to see if the coaching staff lets loose in this one or goes the other way with a vanilla plan.
