Neyland Stadium left a lasting impression on ESPN’s Brock Huard. The former NFL quarterback turned college football analyst praised the stadium after calling Tennessee’s home opening win over Utah State this weekend.
Don’t know if it’s the stadium on the water, a bright orange I can even see, or 100k+ die-hard fans, but Tenn is 1 of my Top 5 spots in CFB

Neyland & UT, you far exceeded my expectations. #Top5VenueInCFB

Huard will likely have plenty of chances to return to Neyland Stadium as a color commentator for the SEC Network. The former Washington quarterback never faced the Vols while playing for the Huskies from 1996-98.
His first experience couldn’t come in a better scenario as Tennessee saw its first sellout crowd for a home opener since 2007, with an official attendance of 102,455. The Vols left the packed house satisfied, defeating Utah State 38-7.
