According to Allan Bell of 247Sports, the Cleveland Browns have released former Florida DT Caleb Brantley.
Brantley was drafted by the Browns at No. 185 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, after falling down draft boards due to misdemeanor battery charges he received during his time in Gainesville. The charges were eventually dismissed.
In 2017, Brantley recorded 12 total tackles in 12 games for the Browns.
In his three years as a Gator, Brantley recorded 80 total tackles and 5.5 sacks. He decided to forgo his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.
