The Broyles Award is an honor recognizing the nation’s top assistant coach. On Wednesday, the list of finalists were revealed.
Unsurprisingly, there were multiple SEC coaches littered throughout:

The SEC representatives include Alabama defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, Auburn defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, Mizzou offensive line coach Glen Elarbee, Ole Miss co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Matt Luke, and South Carolina defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson.

Pruitt, Aranda, and Steele have all engineered impressive defensive units. Robinson has helped to immensely improve from a year ago, Elarbee took a rag-tag bunch and has transformed them into a cohesive unit, and Luke architects one of the most explosive offenses in the SEC.
Surprisingly, Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin was left off of the list.
