Bruce Feldman: Strong chance of Lane Kiffin going to LSU

Add Bruce Feldman to the list of media members expecting Lane Kiffin to join Ed Orgeron’s staff at LSU as the offensive coordinator.
Feldman joined his Fox Sports colleague Clay Travis to discuss the possibility of Kiffin leaving Alabama for one of its biggest rivals. He gives it a significantly better chance of happening than not.
On @outkick @BruceFeldmanCFB says he thinks there’s a 75% chance Lane Kiffin is LSU’s offensive coordinator next year. I agree with him.

It’s worth noting that Orgeron at Ole Miss is the focus of Bruce Feldman’s 2007 book about college football recruiting, “Meat Market.” Prior to accepting the job in Oxford, Orgeron was an assistant at USC along with Kiffin. The two reunited when Kiffin took the Tennessee job in 2009 and continued working together when Kiffin took the head coaching job at Southern Cal.
The pair’s friendship and working relationship is the driving force behind the chatter connecting Kiffin to Baton Rouge. Paul Finebaum recently declared the “marriage” between Kiffin and Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban as “over.”
