Bruce Pearl praises Auburn fans for selling out Saturday’s football game against Texas A&M
Bruce Pearl is proud of the Auburn fanbase for continuing to show up for the football team.
University officials have announced that the Week 11 football game against Texas A&M has sold out. With how poorly the 2022 season has gone for the Tigers, it would not have been a surprise to see many empty seats in Week 11. However, that will not be the case, and Bruce Pearl says that is a testament to the fanbase.
“What a great statement the Auburn family and the Auburn fanbase is making to our coaching staff, the players,” Pearl said at a media opportunity. “Supporting them in a season that’s obviously not going to be a championship season. Just a shoutout to our fans.”
“I know our players are grateful.”

Pearl also noted that the Auburn men’s basketball home opener also sold out on Monday. Pearl’s Tigers defeated the George Mason Patriots in front of a sell-out crowd at Auburn Arena.
