Bryan Harsin addresses Auburn’s recent struggles: ‘We’re not finishing in games’

Auburn is currently on a 3-game losing streak entering its Iron Bowl matchup against Alabama. And of late, the Tigers have struggled to capitalize on their fast starts.

Two weeks ago, Auburn had a 25-point lead over Mississippi State in the 2nd quarter, yet went on to lose, 43-34. This past Saturday, the Tigers had a 14-point lead after 1 quarter against South Carolina, before going on to lose, 21-17.

Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin addressed his team’s inability to keep its early momentum going and to finish strong while speaking to the media on Monday:

The Tigers were 6-2 heading into November, but they have yet to win this month, as their 3-game skid began with a loss to Texas A&M. And if they’re going to upset Alabama, they’ll have to do so without quarterback Bo Nix, who is out after undergoing ankle surgery.

Auburn and Alabama are set to kick off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
