Bryan Harsin commented on Missouri’s dramatic come-from-behind victory against Auburn on Saturday afternoon.
Mizzou went down early and looked to be in serious trouble, particularly with quarterback Brady Cook on the sidelines with an ankle injury. However, Cook returned the game after getting his injury checked out at nearby hospital.
Cook made it back just in time to lead Mizzou in a furious comeback. He led a go-ahead touchdown drive that ended with just 46 seconds left on the clock to give Missouri a 21-17 win.
Cook made some emotional comments after the game that caught the attention of Harsin. The former Auburn coach shared this message on social media in praise of Missouri’s culture:
“Toughness is in the soul and spirit.” Tremendous display of Grit, Unselfishness & Love for his Team! #CultureWins https://t.co/XFMfnDxwch

This is not the first time this season that Harsin has made a comment about another team after they beat his former employer. Back in September, he seemed to take a jab at Auburn after its home loss to Cal.
It’s not been a great Year 2 for Auburn under Hugh Freeze’s leadership. The Tigers are 0-4 in SEC play to start the season and have surrendered late leads in multiple games.
Auburn will face Kentucky on the road in Week 9.
