Bryce Young told Nick Saban that he wanted to play at the end of Alabama’s close win over Texas A&M.
The Crimson Tide escaped by the skin of their teeth, holding the Aggies on a final play from the 2-yard line that would have won it. Young had to sit idly by and watch from the sidelines.
And had Young been playing, the Tide likely wouldn’t have been in that situation in the first place. Nick Saban relayed Young’s intentions postgame.
Saban said Bryce Young wanted to play tonight. “He actually wanted to play at the end of the game.”

That’s reassuring news to Alabama fans worrying the Crimson Tide may be without Young against Tennessee. The Vols are looking like one of the best teams in the country and will no doubt be Alabama’s most dangerous opponent they face so far this season.
Should be a fun one next week in Knoxville.
