Ole Miss won’t be playing in The SEC Championship Game today. That gives them more time to recruit.
The Rebels landed 4-star prospect Bryson Hurst from Gautier (Miss.) High School on Saturday, per a report by 247Sports. The 6-foot-6, 320-pound offensive lineman was also considering Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State and Kentucky before he made his announcement.

Ole Miss certainly has more work to do in recruiting. The Rebels now have 14 commitments but were ranked 13th among the 14 teams in the SEC before Hurst’s commitment. Hurst is the fourth four-star commitment for the Rebels. Ole Miss does not have a five-star prospect committed. The rest of their 2022 signing class is comprised of three-star prospects.
