Tennessee coach Butch Jones admitted that Saturday’s Hail Mary wasn’t at all like how the team drew it up. In fact, it wasn’t even the team’s original call.

During his call-in show, Jones admitted his assistants wanted to call a short throw with laterals, but overrode the play in favor of the Hail Mary because he “had a feeling.”

After allowing Georgia to score with 10 seconds remaining, Dobbs connected with Jauan Jennings on a 43-yard pass in the end zone. to give the Vols’ a 34-31 victory.

The Vols captured their first win at Sanford Stadium since 2006 and improved to 5-0 for the first time since their BCS Championship season in 1998.
