Inside Tennessee reporter Danny Parker was the first to report the news of Reeves-Maybin’s status. According to Parker, Reeves-Maybin is not suffering from a torn labrum, as widely rumored, but is in fact having an issue with his left bicep.
Reeves-Maybin experienced the injury against Ohio in Week 3 and was limited to less than a quarter of action against Florida in Week 4.
In addition to Reeves-Maybin, Cameron Sutton and Jalen Hurd, all of whom missed Saturday’s game, several players experienced injuries during the Vols’ 45-38 loss at Texas A&M.
Jones reiterated that he will not discuss injuries any longer, which he mentioned during his postgame press conference in Week 6.
