CBS Sports’ Gary Danielson getting hilariously mocked for wearing ‘robe’ in booth

CBS Sports’ Gary Danielson was shown wearing a bathrobe while interviewing Tennessee legend Peyton Manning during the broadcast of Saturday’s game between the Vols and Crimson Tide at Neyland Stadium.

Danielson’s outfit was an obvious reference to Manning’s recent ad campaign for DirecTV. Manning, who retired in March, has been depicted wearing a bathrobe while trying to cope with not playing football on Sundays in several commercials.
Beyond jokes from Manning and colleague Verne Lundquist, Danielson was mocked by several Twitter users.

Perhaps Danielson understood Manning’s recent transition as a long-time retired former NFL quarterback in his own right.
