Ole Miss has found its quarterback.
The Rebels hammered UT-Martin 76-3 during Saturday’s opener.
Yeah, it’s early, and it’s UT-Martin, but quarterback Chad “Swag” Kelly looked consistent and sharp in Hugh Freeze’s offense.
Aside from Robert Nkemdiche’s 31-yard touchdown reception, Kelly should steal many of the Rebels’ headlines. He finished 9-of-15 for 211 yards and three total touchdowns, including one 20-yard rushing touchdown.
Ole Miss has one of college football’s most talented rosters, and should Kelly provide consistent quarterback play, the Rebels will be tough to beat.
