Charles Barkley and Jalen Milroe’s father, Quentin, might be fans of rival teams but 1 thing they can agree on is that supporting the military is important.

Quentin and his wife both served in the military and the father of the Alabama QB appeared on the latest edition of The Next Round.

Milroe was later joined on the show by Barkley as the former Auburn basketball player started off by asking no one to make jokes about the Iron Bowl as it would be too soon. All jokes aside, Barkley stated that he has a lot of respect for those in the armed services.

The Folds of Honor Foundation gives scholarships to the children and spouses of those killed in the line of duty, wounded, and purple heart recipients. Barkley has been involved with the Wounded Warrior Project in the past and decided to donate $100k to the Folds of Honor Foundation.

“After spending time with our troops, I’ve found out that our government sucks at taking care of our veterans,” said Barkley. “It’s a travesty and a disgrace the way that they’ve treated our veterans, so I make it a point to let veterans know that I’m gonna do everything in my power to help. I’d like to make a small donation to Folds of Honor. I’m gonna give a $100,000 to Folds of Honor.”

Barkley is doing his part to make sure no veterans are left behind.
