We could all learn a thing or two from Chase Daniel.

Simply put, the man has worked the NFL to perfection during his professional career and the rewards keep coming for the veteran signal-caller as ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter is reporting Daniel has been given a three-year deal worth $13.05 million by the Detroit Lions after spending two seasons in Chicago.

If you are keeping track at home, Daniel is now set to earn $34.3 million in his NFL career after throwing seven touchdowns. Not an average of seven touchdowns per season, seven touchdowns in 10 NFL seasons. Here’s a rundown of Daniel’s career NFL deals via Spotrac.

That’s an incredible amount to give to a backup quarterback but more power to Daniel, who must have the best NFL agent of all time, for getting the most from NFL teams when possible.

During his NFL career, Daniel has played for New Orleans, Kansas City, Philadelphia, New Orleans again, Chicago and is now set to play for Detroit.

In college, Daniels starred for Mizzou, where he threw for 12,515 yards and 101 touchdowns in four seasons.
