Chimere Dike is a Tennessee Titan.
Dike, the first pick of the 4th round and the 103rd overall selection, became the first Florida player to be taken off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft when his name was chosen on Saturday. It marked the first time since 2012 that the Gators didn’t have a player selected in the first three rounds, and also snaps a nine-round drought between selections since Ricky Pearsall was taken in 2024’s first round.
The Waukesha, Wis. native started his career in his home state as he played 4 seasons at Wisconsin, totaling 1,478 yards and 9 touchdowns on 97 catches. That included a career-best 47 receptions and 6 receiving TDs in 2022.
He entered the transfer portal at the end of the 2023 season and landed at Florida. In his lone season with the Gators, he pulled in 42 catches for a career-high 783 yards — second-best on the team — while adding a pair of touchdowns.
Dike joins Miami QB Cam Ward, the top overall pick, in Nashville as the Titans look to improve on a dismal 3-14 season. The Titans went defense in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, choosing UCLA edge rusher Oluwafemi Oladejo and Penn State defensive back Kevin Winston Jr., respectively.
