It’s been a while since we’ve seen Alabama outside of the College Football Playoff picture and as the team sits with two losses coming off of a narrow 30-24 loss to the Ole Miss Rebels, there are many calling for changes within the program.
Some of the criticism has been directed at the coaching staff, though college football analyst Chris Doering doesn’t think fans should be harping on the Crimson Tide coordinators.
“The fans need to shut up about the coordinators,” Doering said. “You have the greatest coach in the history of college football. He knows what needs to be done. I look around at people talking about this being the poorest job that he’s done as a head coach. He’s going to make adjustments that he sees fit. You have the fortune of having a guy that knows exactly what his team needs. He’s always in touch with what’s going on.”
There is no question that Saban is one of the best to ever take the sidelines across sports in general and there isn’t any doubt that he’ll make the tweaks he deems best to put Alabama in the right position for a resurgence next season.
