Chris Doering will be on “SEC Now” on SEC Network this season, and for multiple years into the future.

On Thursday, ESPN announced that Doering has signed a multi-year contract extension to continue serving as an analyst and contributor on ESPN and SEC Network programming.

“I’m incredibly blessed to get to do what I love every week and call it ‘work,'” Doering said in a press release. “I have the opportunity to give back to a game and a conference that have given me so much. I feel so lucky to be a member of our ‘SEC Now’ team with Dari [Nowkhah] & Chiz [Gene Chizik]. We all have such a blast together, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to continue as part of the SEC Network family.”

Doering started as a studio analyst for ESPN in August 2015. Prior to that, he had served as a contributor to SEC Network events and ESPN specials. In addition to appearing on “SEC Now,” Doering also contributes to spring football coverage in March and April on SEC Network.

Doering is the co-host of “SEC Today” on SiriusXM Radio. He is a native of Gainesville, Fla., and played at Florida from 1992-95, before going on to play 10 years in the NFL.

“Chris Doering has been a breath of fresh air for us since joining the network in 2015,” SEC Network coordinating producer Pete Watters said in a press release. “His easygoing style and willingness to work hard to get the job done make him stand out as a fan favorite and a favorite of our production team. Whether it’s his attention to detail on a football Saturday, or traveling to campus for our spring football coverage, Chris treats everyone he comes into contact with like a long-lost friend.”
