Chubb prepares for battle with Troy with massive club on left hand

Georgia freshman Nick Chubb underwent surgery to repair a fractured left thumb on Monday. His status remained unknown of the majority of the week.
It was reported by Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald prior to Saturday’s noon kickoff that Chubb was dressed out and warming up with the running backs with a club on his left hand.
