Star running back C.J. Freeman reconfirmed his commitment to South Carolina on Tuesday, he announced on Twitter:

Freeman had not officially de-committed to South Carolina, but had opened up his recruiting again, picking between South Carolina, Wisconsin, Louisville and Georgia Southern. In the end, Freeman opted to remain committed to signing with the Gamecocks and new coach Will Muschamp.
He said his discussion with South Carolina coaches helped sway his decision to stick with South Carolina:
Freeman said he was leaning heavily towards Wisconsin before official visit to USC last weekend. Bentley/Muschamp/Roper swayed him to stay.

Freeman is a three-star prospect according to 247 Sports Composite score and is the 31st ranked running back in the nation.
Freeman will enroll at South Carolina early and will bolster the team’s offense, which does not have another running back in its current recruiting class. He also marks the third commitment of the day for Muschamp and his staff.
