Clemson LB: You can’t be a ‘little b-word’ if you want to tackle Bo Scarbrough
They don’t call Bo Scarbrough “The Closer” for nothing.
Alabama’s 6-foot-2, 230-pound bruiser is known for having an increased role in the offense late in the game to demoralize opponents once they are beginning to wear down.
For example, Scarbrough received seven carries in the fourth quarter of the Crimson Tide’s 24-7 win over Washington in the College Football Playoff semifinals over the weekend and bulldozed his way to 85 yards and a touchdown in the final 15 minutes to close the game out.
The sophomore has averaged 6.6 yards per carry throughout the 2016 season and seemingly gets stronger toward the end of the game.
Clemson star linebacker Ben Boulware is familiar with Scarbrough and what he brings to the Alabama offense, basically telling reporters today that you have to bring everything but the kitchen sink to slow him down:
Ben Boulware on tackling Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough: "I wish I could say what I want to say. Just don't be a little B word."
