We’ve seen some big-name players opt out of the 2020 season, particularly in the Big Ten, where Minnesota WR Rashod Bateman, Purdue WR Rondale Moore and Penn State LB Micah Parsons have all made that tough decision.
However, at Clemson, star QB Trevor Lawrence is all-in on the 2020 season if it takes place this fall.
Per Clemson reporter Grace Raynor, Lawrence is committed to playing this fall, but would reconsider his options if the timeline for the season changes:
Trevor Lawrence says he is at Clemson and is committed. Said once he decided to not opt out, his mind was made up.

Trevor Lawrence said he felt like he was going to play the whole time. Said it wasn't so much of a decision as it was deciding he'd reassess if he needed to.

Trevor Lawrence says that if the season timeline changes, he'll cross that bridge when he gets there.

That’s obviously big news for the Tigers, who are the favorites to win the ACC title and make a run at a College Football Playoff spot.
Lawrence could also end up being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
