Clemson wide receiver Frank Ladson will enter the transfer portal following a season where he saw limited playing time, and battled multiple injuries, Matt Zenitz of On3 reported.

Ladson suffered a hip injury practice around midseason, and was limited to playing special teams against Boston College in early October and didn’t play the rest of the season. Ladson missed time in the preseason after he tested positive for COVID-19, the Greenville News reported. Last year, he suffered an ankle injury.

This past spring, Ladson had surgery and missed time.

In 5 games this season, Ladson had 4 receptions for 19 yards. Last season, he had 18 catches for 281 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The junior from Miami, Florida coming out of high school was ranked 33rd-best overall player by 247Sports, which also listed him as the fourth-best receiver in the nation and fourth-best overall player from Florida.
