Cole Cubelic had to take a day or so to digest a historical week in the SEC that featured a bevy of ranked matchups and a ton of storylines.
Week 4 didn’t disappoint, and neither did the SEC Network analyst’s social media storm late Sunday night, as he shared his thoughts on all 16 SEC teams as the dust settled on not only Week 4 but on the month of September in the SEC.
Cubelic loved what he saw from Alabama.
“Impressive win (vs.) conference opponent,” he wrote about the Tide’s thrashing of South Carolina.
And how about Florida, which is now in the top 10 after smashing Ole Miss at The Swamp?
“Big one. More physical team. Looked more aggressive,” Cubelic wrote of the 52-28 victory.
And how about those Horns, as No. 1 Texas survived its trip to Neyland Stadium and Tennessee?
“Huge win on the road. Will look better a month from now,” he wrote about the 20-17 victory.
Then there was LSU‘s bounce-back victory over Texas A&M.
“QB run effective. Left pocket early a few times early then settled in & delivered some nice balls under pressure,” Cubelic wrote about Tigers quarterback Sam Leavitt.
And, finally, there is upstart Mississippi State and its takedown of Mizzou to stay perfect.
“Really nice win. Defense flew around,” Cubelic wrote about those surprising Bulldogs.
