The latest college baseball rankings are out for the week of March 24, and Baseball America dropped its updated top 25 on Monday!
Coming out of another busy weekend of SEC baseball, Tennessee continues to lead the poll as the No. 1 team in the country. The Vols experienced their first rough patch last week but still emerged with a weekend series win over Alabama, more than enough to keep the reigning College World Series champs in the top spot.
Behind Tennessee is Arkansas and Texas. The Razorbacks won all 5 of their games last week, including a sweep of South Carolina, to move up a spot while Texas moved up 2 spots after a series win over LSU.
As for LSU, the Tigers dropped back to No. 5 overall while Georgia (No. 4) gave the SEC a clean sweep of the top 5 spots. Florida State and Clemson followed the top 5 to lead the ACC in the latest.
Florida continues to be the latest top story out of the SEC with the Gators still winless and 0-6 in league play after getting swept in back-to-back weekends. They fell from No. 8 to No. 19 in Baseball America’s poll after falling completely out of the D1Baseball top 25 on Monday.
