College football player hilariously hurdles ghost defender

The 2022 college football season is just now underway, but it hasn’t disappointed through just its first week of action.
Nevada’s matchup against New Mexico State was among the first games to be played and Wolf Pack fans liked their outcome as the team opened the year at 1-0 with the 23-12 victory over the Aggies. It didn’t lack some added entertainment, either.
Running back Devonte Lee, who has been a reliable rusher for the team, was seeing ghosts on this play as he hurdled a defender that didn’t exist. At least the Wolfpack can rest assured he’s keeping his head on a swivel and is prepared for anything — there or not — this season.

Lee was the star of the day offensively, finishing out the game with 13 carries for 61 yards and two touchdowns. He ended out last season with 85 carries for 331 yards and five touchdowns on the ground within Nevada’s Air Raid offense last season. How he takes a step in his fifth year in Reno will be something to watch.
