The College Football Playoff trophy is one of the most coveted items in all of college sports, and teams fight all year just for a chance to hold it at the end of the season.

So naturally, if you want to see the trophy for yourself, just head over to a gas station near Auburn’s campus.

On Wednesday, the College Football Playoff trophy made an appearance in Auburn, Alabama for fans to take photos of and with the trophy. The event took place at a Circle K near Auburn’s campus.

The stop at Circle K in Auburn is a part of the CFP trophy tour, which brings the trophy to locations around the country for fans to see it. The trophy also makes stops at games, like the Week 2 game between Alabama and Texas.

While it may not make sense on the surface why the trophy was at a gas station, according to AL.com, the trophy visits large distributors of Dr. Pepper, which is the sponsor for the trophy.

Regardless of the logic, having the trophy at a gas station drew quite the reaction from fans on social media Wednesday afternoon.
