It looks like a winner!

Some teams have chains. Boise State has a throne. But, UNLV’s giant slot machine might be the most unique. The Rebels have chosen a slot machine to brag about their turnover successes.

Dubbed the “Rebel Roller,” the machine was on full display Saturday, as UNLV LB Austin Ajiake snagged an interception and returned it 46 yards. Watch here:

Luck certainly seemed to be on UNLV’s side, as the Rebels were leading the Idaho State Bengals by double digits heading into halftime on Saturday. It’s certainly a change of pace from the 2021 season, when the Rebels went 2-10, including 6 one-score losses.

The Rebels will be lead by returning QB Doug Brumfield, who completed 17-of-39 pass attempts for 320 yards and 2 TDs before being sidelined with an injury in 2021. Perhaps Lady Luck continues to smile on UNLV.
