ESPN has turned to a big-time band with Ohio connections to come to College GameDay this week.
The popular college football kickoff show is set to air live from Columbus on Saturday morning ahead of the marquee Big Ten matchup between No. 4 Ohio State and No. 7 Michigan State. And during the show, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun of Twenty One Pilots will be serving as the celebrity guest pickers.
Joseph announced that he’d be coming to Columbus for the show on Twitter, sharing that he’s a lifelong Ohio resident who also attended Ohio State for 2 1/2 years:

College GameDay will be in Columbus for the first time since Nov. 23, 2019. While the show will begin at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday, Twenty One Pilots won’t appear to share their picks until 11:30 a.m. ET.
It won’t be a surprise if Joseph and Dun pick the Buckeyes to take down the Spartans, considering where their allegiances lie.
Jake Rill contributes to news coverage for Saturday Down South. He has covered the SEC since 2016.
