College GameDay is headed back to SEC country for their first March show of 2025.
ESPN announced on Saturday morning that the flagship pregame show will originate from Gainesville next weekend as Florida hosts Texas A&M in a potential top-10 showdown.
Here’s the official announcement:
Entering the weekend, Florida is ranked No. 2 in the AP Top 25 while Texas A&M is at No. 7. The Aggies host No. 6 Tennessee on Saturday, so it’s possible this could even be a top-5 matchup if both A&M and UF are able to pull out wins in their respective games this weekend. Florida will go on the road to face LSU on Saturday.
This will mark the 3rd time this season that College GameDay will visit an SEC campus for a men’s game. The show was on the Plains for Tennessee vs. Auburn back on Jan. 25 and then was present for the Iron Bowl of Basketball in Tuscaloosa on Feb. 15. This will be the first time this season that either Texas A&M or Florida have been showcased.
Florida has hosted College GameDay on 5 previous occasions, with the most recent being on Feb. 4, 2017 when the Gators hosted Kentucky in a top-25 matchup. Florida won that game 88-66.
