College GameDay is in Happy Valley in Week 10 for the top-5 matchup between Ohio State and Penn State. Now, we know where the crew will be in Week 11, too.

The show announced on social media that they will be heading to Death Valley for the Alabama-LSU matchup. This will be Baton Rouge’s 1st time hosting GameDay since the 2019 season.

It’s easy to see why the show would pick this game. Both Alabama and LSU are on a bye in Week 10 to prepare for this heated rivalry matchup.

The Tide will enter the game with a 6-2 overall record and a 3-2 mark in SEC play. The Tigers, meanwhile, will enter with a 6-2 overall record and a 3-1 mark in conference play. This rivalry game has been back and forth of late, with the Tigers winning 2 of the last 5 games.

Overall, the Tide have won 56 times in the series and the Tigers have won 27 times. The teams have tied 5 times.

As mentioned above, this will be the 1st time hosting GameDay for Baton Rouge in 5 years. This will be the Tigers’ 14th time overall hosting the show. Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Florida are the only teams who have won more on GameDay than LSU.

In 2024, both the Tide and the Tigers played in a GameDay game. The Tide hosted the show for their matchup against Georgia, while GameDay went to Colombia, SC to see the Tigers play South Carolina.
