College GameDay has revealed its Week 2 location!

Are you sitting down? This is a shocker.

Yes, that’s right, y’all. The popular ESPN pregame show has chosen to visit … Tuscaloosa!

It was announced on Saturday’s Week 1 show from Charlotte that the crew would head to Alabama for the Crimson Tide’s huge Week 2 showdown vs. Texas:

Alabama and Texas both have College Football Playoff aspirations for the 2023 season. Alabama enters the season as the No. 4 team in the country despite questions at quarterback and 2 new coordinators. The Longhorns are currently No. 11 in the country.

This week, Texas plays host to Rice. The Crimson Tide will take on Middle Tennessee at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Those should just be tuneups before the highly anticipated Week 2 game.

Who will win one of the biggest nonconference games of the 2023 season? Next Saturday’s game between the Tide and the Longhorns is set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET and can be seen on ESPN.
