When Florida and Georgia fans head to Jacksonville, the gathering is called the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. This year’s Party will feature some special guests.
ESPN announced Saturday night that “College GameDay” is coming to Jacksonville for the first time since 2005. In some ways, it’s hard to believe that the years of the rivalry defined by Tim Tebow, Matthew Stafford, Knowshon Moreno, Brandon Spikes and other weren’t enough to get Kirk Herbstreit and company to the river city. The starpower might not be the same, but this should be a good one between the No. 8 Bulldogs and No. 11 Gators, both 6-1.
The showdown, which will play a big part in who wins the SEC East, is set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff. It will air on CBS.
