First-year College GameDay host Rece Davis spent Sunday night tweeting who he thought made up college football’s top 16 teams, highlighted by five squads from the SEC — none inside the Top 5.
The usual suspects are out front — Ohio State, Baylor, TCU and Utah, followed by Clemson, Texas A&M and LSU.
Florida is the SEC’s lowest-rated remaining unbeaten at No. 8, just ahead of Michigan and Alabama, two teams who are played superb on defense.
Florida and LSU meet on Saturday night in Baton Rouge. Alabama and Texas A&M battle in the CBS 3:30 p.m. EST time slot as well.
