College GameDay is back in Oxford for just the second time ever as No. 11 Texas A&M faces No. 15 Ole Miss.

Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin will join the GameDay set live to offer a preview of Saturday’s SEC West showdown. Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, research producer and sports betting analyst Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica, and reporters Jen Lada and Gene Wojciechowski will talk about the biggest topics in college football heading into Week 11 of the 2021 season. In addition to that coverage, Saturday’s show will feature a segment from Wright Thompson on Oxford, per an ESPN release:

  • Welcome to Oxford – The courthouse square in Oxford, Mississippi is the focal point of the town, and City Grocery, a world-class restaurant with a dive bar above it, is the square’s heartbeat. Wright Thompson reflects on a tale of two towns – Oxford and the square on any given day, and when it comes alive on football weekends.

Ahead of Saturday’s show, ESPN’s Bill Hofheimer shared some GameDay stats and trends:

  • This is the second time GameDay has been to Oxford. The previous visit was October 4, 2014, when the Rebels upset Alabama.
  • The last 3 games GameDay has attended have all been 1-score games (Oregon beat UCLA by 3, Michigan State beat Michigan by 4, and Cincinnati beat Tulsa by 8).
  • If Lee Corso picks Ole Miss, it will mark the 65th different team headgear he has worn at the end of GameDay.
  • Corso has picked Texas A&M 3 times and is 1-2 with those 3 picks. He’s picked against Texas A&M 4 times and has won all 4 games.
