ESPN’s College GameDay will start the season off on the right foot.
College football’s premier pregame show announced Monday it will be in Arlington, Texas, for the Alabama vs. Wisconsin matchup.

The game pits two ranked teams against each other to start the season. The USA Today Coaches’ Poll ranked the Crimson Tide No. 3 in the country, while it ranked Wisconsin No. 18.
A few other games most likely under consideration were No. 16 Arizona State vs. Texas A&M and Texas at No. 11 Notre Dame.
Upon the announcement, GameDay will have attended a neutral-site season opener in seven of the last eight seasons.
