The eyes of the entire college football world will be on Clemson and Alabama during Monday night’s national championship game in Arizona.
Both are storied programs, but nobody matches Alabama’s rich football pedigree that includes a staggering 15 national championships, 28 conference titles (including 24 SEC crowns) and 115 first-team All-Americans since the program’s inception in 1892. Seven former Crimson Tide players went to reach the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, the most recent being the late Derrick Thomas in 2009.
The Tigers have just one national championship to their credit, which it won in 1981.
Here’s a look at how the two schools stack up against one another.
