Alabama will honor the late Ken Stabler before its game against LSU on Nov. 7.
Stabler, who played quarterback for the Crimson Tide from 1964-67, passed away on June 8 due to colon cancer.

His family will be honored on the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium before the game. The ceremony will include a video tribute. There will also be a story about Stabler in Alabama’s game program.
Stabler was Alabama’s starting quarterback in 1966 and 1967, and led the 1966 Crimson Tide to an 11-0 record. After that, he played 15 seasons in the NFL, 10 of them with the Oakland Raiders. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection, and led the Raiders to a 32-14 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl XI.
The former quarterback was also a color analyst for Alabama football games on the Crimson Tide Sports Network from 1998-2007.
