Ruffin was a 4-star recruit and one of the top point guards in the 2021 class. While originally committing to Auburn, he found his home at Ole Miss after reopening his recruitment. Ruffin passed on offers from Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State and LSU before becoming the Rebel’s 2nd highest-ranked recruit in program history.
The return of Ruffin is sure to be a boon for Ole Miss, as the point guard earned a team-high 19 points off the bench in 2021. It wasn’t Ruffin’s first stellar performance of 2021, as he scored 12 points in 13 minutes against Middle Tennessee last season.
Hopefully Ruffin will be back on the court scoring for the Rebels again this season.
