Dak Prescott has been one of the major surprises of the of the 2016 NFL Draft after stepping in for an injured Tony Romo last season.
Prescott, the former fourth-round pick, has been a revelation to “America’s Team” with his decision-making and leadership at such a young age. The limelight continues to follow the former Mississippi State quarterback and rightfully so.
On Sunday afternoon against the Denver Broncos, Prescott made headlines once again.
According to Patrik Walker of Dal 247 Sports, Prescott became the first QB in NFL history to throw at least 500 pass attempts while having less than five interceptions.
Prescott only threw four interceptions in the 16 games he participated in last season and has yet to throw one in 2017. Along with taking care of the football, Prescott threw for 23 touchdowns and completed over 67 percent of his passes in 2016.
