Things didn’t go well for Mississippi State in Athens Saturday night.
The Georgia Bulldogs thumped MSU 31-3 in Sanford Stadium, and it was just UGA’s night.
QB Nick Fitzgerald finished with just 83 yards passing and two INTs, while the Bulldogs mounted just 280 total yards of offense.
Here’s what Dan Mullen said following the game:
Dan Mullen is here. "I don't think we executed at a real high level today in any of three phases, to be honest with you."

Mullen says, among other things, need some passing correction to offense: "We've gotta make some plays down the field."

Mullen: I don't think we won one 50-50 ball all day

Mullen: "It's not always about the one game in this league. It's the multiple games. Gotta go play another top-10 team."

Mullen also says missed tackles were an issue defensively. Doesn't think MSU tackled as well today as previous three weeks.
