Dan Mullen has updated his top 25 after the Week 11 games, with many changes reflected within the rankings as multiple analysts had after a wild weekend.
One of the biggest things that caused a world of shakeup was Miami being upset by Georgia Tech on the road, Georgia being embarrassed by Ole Miss in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and LSU being all but laughed out of the College Football Playoff race after being boatraced by Alabama in Tiger Stadium.
When Mullen ranked what he deems to be the strongest 25 teams currently in college football, he had four SEC teams in College Football Playoff territory, considering where the new 12-team format is concerned. Those were Texas (No. 5), Tennessee (No. 6), Alabama (No. 11) and Ole Miss (No. 12).

With just a handful of games left to go before the conclusion of the 2024 regular season, it will be interesting to see just how much the picture continues to evolve as we prepare for a postseason that is now just on the horizon.
