Dan Mullen shredded for postgame comment after Florida’s loss to Kentucky

It was a tough night for Florida coach Dan Mullen, as the No. 10 Gators dropped a 20-13 decision at Kentucky on Saturday.
It was the Wildcats’ first win at home over the Gator since 1986 and just their second victory in the series in the last 35 meetings.
During his postgame press conference, Mullen was asked if he thought he was outcoached by Kentucky’s Mark Stoops in the game, and he didn’t take kindly to the question.
“No. 382 yards. I guess that’s sputtering,” said Mullen in what was a brief meeting with the media. “We had 382 and they had 211.”
Reactions to Mullen’s take, however, made it clear that most disagreed with his assessment.
