David Pollack understands the Georgia Bulldogs are under a lot of pressure as they come off of a 13-12 narrow win over Kentucky and are still up against one of the toughest schedules in the nation.
Pollack, a Bulldog legend and former co-host of ESPN’s “College GameDay,” recently sat down with Greg McElroy and weighed in on the Bulldogs’ schedule and the expectations with them headed to Tuscaloosa to face the Alabama Crimson Tide.
“Georgia fans know that Alabama has had their number,” Pollack said. “And Georgia’s going to be very interesting to me. Their schedules sucks, and we talked about this all year long. The best team in the country, you can give me the best team last year or the last ten years, are going to lose at least one game with their schedule.”
If Georgia is to lose this game, with Alabama favored by a decent margin by the ESPN FPI to come out with the win, there are still several potential roadblocks that lie in wait within the rest of the opponents the Bulldogs face this year.

“If this is the one you choose to lose, you still play at Texas, you still play at Ole Miss, you still host Tennessee,” Pollack said. “I don’t think Alabama’s schedule by any means is easy, but compared to Georgia’s, it’s pretty easy.”
It will be interesting to see how things play out when Alabama and Georgia kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
