Tolan heads to The Plains after a season at LSU. As a freshman, he played in 12 games for Brian Kelly’s squad, recording 10 total tackles, including 3 solo stops. Tolan had a season-high 4 tackles in LSU’s win over Ole Miss.
Tolan was a highly sought-after recruit in the class of 2022. Out of Dr. Phillips in Orlando, Tolan was rated 4-stars, the No. 20 linebacker, No. 24 recruit in Florida and No. 204 prospect overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite. Tolan picked up 39 scholarship offers during his recruitment. He used his 5 official visits on LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Miami and Tennessee.
Tolan has 3 full seasons of eligibility remaining and a redshirt available if ever limited to 4 games or fewer in a season.
