Derrick Henry got the Baltimore Ravens off to a running start — literally — against the 3-0 Buffalo Bills on “Sunday Night Football”.

After the Bills punted on their initial possession, Henry, on the Ravens’ first play from scrimmage, took a handoff from Lamar Jackson and took it 87 yards to the end zone as Baltimore opened up an early 7-0 lead.

Here’s a look at the latest big play from the former Alabama great:

Henry’s carry was the longest touchdown run in Baltimore Ravens history, per the NBC broadcast. It was also his 5th rushing touchdown of the season and the NFL’s longest play from scrimmage this season.

After eight seasons with the Tennessee Titans, Henry signed a 2-year, $16 million deal with the Ravens in the 2023 offseason. Through a handful of games with his new team, he looks to be ready to pick up where he left off as he developed into the top running backs in the NFL.

Meanwhile, the Ravens are 1-2, looking to hand the Bills their first loss of the season.
